St. Peter's Anglican Church + My Favorites
Also known as the Stolen Church, St. Peter's was originally built in 1887 in the town of Donald. When the church was dismantled for relocation to Revelstoke, the Kimpton family (who had moved to Windermere from Donald) successfully plotted to steal the dismantled church for rebuilding in Windermere, where it now stands. The church provides monthly worship services and is available for weddings. Address: Corner of Victoria Ave &Kootenay St. | Windermere, BC Tel: 1 250 342-6644
