On the shores of Lake Windermere in the BC Rockies stands the town of Invermere. Windermere Beach, located in the lakeside village of Windermere, is a short drive south of Invermere. Alternately, visitors looking for something less physical can learn about local culture and history by visiting the Windermere Valley Pioneer Museum or the Invermere Pynelogs Cultural Centre.
